Turn off the lights when you leave...

well it's just, for many people he wasn't that freak, okay maybe a little eccentric, but was okay, at least for me who planned to go to his last tour this year.

also, we must remember that we don't treasure something till you already lost it. That's why people crying now.

Being freak, eccentric or a weirdo, whatever, but he was a man that you could say, this is an artist.

he had a big life. while his death was sudden, i'm not surprised by the reaction.

his art and talent was too great, and no doubt the pressure of that strained him. to many people, he was a god, or a freak--but he was just a man.

we don't appreciate what we had until it's lost.

I think there's a difference between his personal and professional life, and it's his professional life that many people praise. Sure, people can think he's a total creep during his life, but there's no way anyone can deny the fact that he brought a lot of things to the entertainment industry that will be sorely missed with his passing.
He was the "King of Pop" and it's not a title that just came from nothing. A lot of artists have been inspired by him and he was a great innovator with his creativity.

I think that's what other people respect and choose to remember him as. No one (or at least no one I've seen) is remembering him as the greatest and best person ever, but as one of the greatest artists ever, which, in a way, he sorta is.
I wonder how we'll feel if someone in Arashi... I'm not even going to say it! They are eternal!! :P
